Zone Pear Cake (8 Blocks)

This delicious, perfectly balanced Zone cake is a fantastic treat.
Ingredients
- Protein (8 Blocks):
- 2 Eggs
- 64g Skyr
- 12g Isolate Protein Powder
- 200g Quark (low-fat)
- Carbohydrates (8 Blocks):
- 50g Wheat Bran
- 50g Oat Bran
- 24g Honey
- 110g Pear (grated or thinly sliced)
- 6g Coconut flakes (unsweetened)
- Fats (8 Blocks):
- 15g Tahini
- 22g Dark Chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 15g Nuts (chopped, e.g., almonds or walnuts)
Instructions
- Prep the Base: Preheat your oven to 180ยฐC. Grease and line a small baking tin.
- Mix the Base: Whisk the eggs with the tahini and Skyr until smooth. Fold in the isolate, wheat bran, and oat bran. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate.
- Bake: Spread the base batter into the prepared tin. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
- Make the Cream: Combine the Quark with the honey. Adjust sweetness if needed.
- Assemble: Spread the cooled cake with the grated/sliced pear, then top with the prepared Quark cream.
- Finish: Sprinkle with the chopped nuts and coconut flakes. Chill for at least an hour to set the texture.
